Self compassion and self forgiveness are key to learning how to not only reduce your anxiety, but are the essential ingredients in making positive changes in your life, living your best life and functioning at your full capacity in your valued roles in life. Simply put, we all must learn to stop being our own harshest critic and our own worst enemy and cut ourselves some slack! Forgive yourself quickly! Treat and care for yourself the way you would treat and care for a good friend or a beloved family member. Let go of perfection. Of comparing yourself to others who have not had the life experiences you have had and who never had to walk in your shoes!
